As if Nirvana fans really needed more to bitch about, well here it is. First they were outraged at the use of Kurt Cobain’s avatar on the new Guitar Hero game. Now we get this little gem courtesy of DJ Lobsterdust. He mashes up the instrumentals of Lady Gaga’s Poker Face to the vocals of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit. The guy does a pretty good job but surely Kurt is rolling in his grave as we speak. I smell Courtney Love behind this one.

Thursday November 12 I get to live out one of my life long dreams when I get to interview Metallica. I have been a huge fan of their music since I was young and I have a ton of questions that I would like to ask them, but I want to include you in the process.

It’s no secret that I love the football season. And with that, I am an active participant in numerous fantasy football leagues. This year I have decided to only do 2 leagues so I figured that I would make my team names count. I have heard plenty of great team names and if you have more that you would like to share, please feel free to comment with your team names. I have also included the pictures that I am using as my logos for each of my fantasy football teams. I expect to be awarded my bonus points this year for having the most creative team names and logos. If you can out-do me, then comment away. Don’t be jealous.

Apologies for my inactivity the last few weeks. Things have been a little hectic here in K-Rock land so I will be back on a regular basis.
The next few weeks should be very exciting if you are a fan of new music. Over the course of the next month and a half, we are getting new albums from the following bands. Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Chevelle, Five Finger Death Punch, Weezer and the one and only Creed. If you know me, you know that Creed isn’t exactly high on my list of bands that I enjoy. I think that the band is talented and sounds great, however my hatred for Scott Stapp still remains. I started hating him because I really couldn’t stand the sound of his voice, but once I found out how much of a hypocritical douchebag he was, then I started hating him more. Stapp broke away from the other guys in Creed and tried to do a solo venture which failed miserably thank god, while the remaining Creed members went and formed the band Alterbridge. They had a decent amount of success with that venture and once Scott Stapp realized he was nothing without the other members of Creed, he came begging looking to revive his career with Creed.
So Creed is back and working on a new album. Yesterday we get a package and inside of it is the brand new Creed single called Overcome. My hatred for Creed runs deep, but I gotta tell ya…the song is pretty god damn good. It doesn’t sound like Creed with Scott Stapp which is probably why I like the song. I was hoping for massive failure from them but they came through with a pretty killer song.

I enjoy the movie Back To The Future because they named the main villan after me. If this movie doesn’t make you laugh, I don’t know what else to tell you. Please devote a few minutes to this gem of cinematic genius and enjoy.

This Sunday is my birthday and I rock so much that I got my birthday cake on Friday. This was crafted at 1130pm last night and delivered to me this morning at 11am. Mollie, you rock and thank you for the cake. It’s no secret that this fat kid loves himself some cake. So much so that this lasted all of 20 minutes once in my possession
The weather is finally warm, get outside and enjoy because it will be snowing again before you know it. Lets see, we’ve got golf at Rome Country Club on Saturday after 4, the first Red Sox vs. Yankees series of the season and most important of all…The 27th annual Bifford Nigel McBifford celebration of my creation in this world. Public intoxication will be at an all time high and if you see me out Saturday night, I expect you to buy me a drink in celebration.
Oh yeah, The Yankees suck and Jeter swallows…LETS GO RED SOX
